Uses of lozenges :
This product can temporarily relieve symptoms like sore throat, irritation of the throat, or cold. The product works by providing a cool feeling and increasing saliva within the mouth. Manufacturers may have altered the ingredients. Products with similar names could contain different ingredients that are intended for different purposes.
How to Use Throat Lozenges Oral Topical Anesthesias
Before using this medication, please read and follow the instructions on the package. Your pharmacist can answer any questions. Use this product only if your doctor has given you permission.
Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in your tongue, and then swallow the liquid with your saliva. Do not swallow the whole thing.
It is recommended that you use this product every two hours if necessary. Follow the instructions of your doctor if you have been given this medication. You should not take this drug for a higher dose or for a longer time than prescribed.
Tell your doctor immediately if you have a sore throat or persistent infection that lasts for more than two days or worsens over time. If you have symptoms such as sore throat or cough that persist or do not improve within 7 days, consult your doctor immediately. These symptoms could indicate a serious condition. You should seek medical attention immediately if you suspect you might have a serious medical condition.
Side Effects of Throat Lozenges
It is possible to feel numb in the throat. Tell your doctor immediately if this happens.
Remember that your doctor may have directed you to take this medication. Your doctor has determined that there is a greater benefit than any side effects. This medication is not known to cause serious side effects in many people.
It is very rare for this drug to cause a severe allergic reaction. If you have symptoms such as rash, swelling (especially on the face/tongue/throat), dizziness, or trouble breathing, seek medical attention immediately.Throat Lozenges

This product could contain aspartame and/or sugar. You should exercise caution if you have diabetic, Phenylketonuria or another condition that requires you limit/avoid these substances from your diet. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor about safe use of this product.

Storage
Keep at room temperature, away from moisture and light. Avoid storing in the bathroom. All medicines should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
