The loss of hair in postpartum is among the most severe.
After I had my first child, no one could have predicted how severe the loss of hair postpartum would be. I already have quite thin hair, but when I was at 3 months, it appeared as if it was all falling out. Then it it wouldn’t it stop!divi hair serum
After about 6 months after having my baby I stopped losing my hair in a flurry, but I ended up with a lot of thin and bald spots. The worst part was that one spot was directly in front of me. I was able to have my hair stylist change my part to cover part of it and I kept my hair in that style until about one year before my hair started growing back.
The second time around , the postpartum hair loss was more severe. My hair loss started slightly earlier, and then more hair began falling out. I began to notice two large small spots on my hairline in the front regardless of what I did , I could not cover up.
I shared on Instagram my issue along with my buddy Keshia stylist, who is also a hair stylist, said she had seen ads for a brand new product known as Divi which claimed to aid with hair loss postpartum. She was also pregnant and was considering using it to treat hair loss as well.
WHAT IS DIVI HAIR SERUM?
Divi Hair serum is light serum composed from Copper Tripeptide-1, Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Leaf Extract as well as Caffeine. It claims to rejuvenate and cleanse your scalp and, for me it aids in hair regrowth for hair loss.
After placing my order, I received confirmation and a few days later, it was delivered! I was awestruck by the speed at which it was delivered and how gorgeous the package was. I was very enthusiastic about trying it when I opened the package, I took it out of the package to try it. Before I go any further, I’d like to say that this is completely my impression of Divi. In this review, there aren’t affiliate links or other info about Divi I purchased all of the bottles on my own hoping that it will help me with my after-partum loss of hair.
HOW TO USE
The package advises shaking the bottle vigorously Then, use 1 drop per each day (preferably during the times when hair becomes moist) then apply it to your hair. I followed the directions and applied the bulk of my serum in the areas where my hair was very thin. I massaged it into my hair after which I noticed it was absorbed fairly quickly. I began to my hair dry after which I realized that the areas that I used the serum experienced coolness that actually felt very lovely!
MONTH 1
I continued to use the serum daily as the directions said. However, I did apply it a few times to dry hair, and noticed that the serum made my hair little oily on the areas I applied it, so hair that is wet is always more preferred.
After one month I did not notice any changes. However, I was impressed with how the hair feel (the cooling effect caused me to think that something was going on LOL) therefore I decided to continue. For this time, however, I used subscribe and save, so I would get 10% of my purchase.
MONTH 2
I continued to apply the serum through month 2 and at the at the end of the month I began to see tiny baby hairs sprouting up! Yes!! This was an exciting thing to witness, so I decided to keep going with a new month of the serum.
MONTH 3
The third month was the very first month I had the subscription plan. My order was delivered a couple of days before the month 2 bottle was due to run out. After the month ended, 3 I began to notice an increase in growth and began using the product on different areas of my hair in an attempt to make it thicker (hey it’s worth it you think? ).divi hair serum
MONTH 4
I’m currently in month 4 and I’m amazed by the growth I’ve experienced. The areas in front which were thin are filled with baby hair growing. I’m hoping this will be the last month I use Divi because I’ve seen the results I’ve hoped for! The only issue for me this month is that the package was delivered late, and I was almost three days with no serum. I could borrow a few from the bottle of my husband until my own finally arrived.
IS DIVI WORTH IT?
I believe that Divi is totally worth the investment. I was skeptical at initial month, but after the baby hairs began appearing, I became a believer. After I had my baby the first time I took longer to see these results.
The only issue that I have found with Divi is their price. When I first started to order, I received a lot of e-mails from them containing offers like an extra 10 discount on subscriptions. But, as I was an existing customer, no of these promotions applied on myself (my husband’s subscription was eligible however) therefore I believe it’s somewhat misleading to send customers who are already paying those offers that aren’t applicable to them.
Divi also offers a 3 month package that costs $136. That costs $45.33 for a bottle.
PROMO CODE
Although I don’t have any coupon code to give away I’ve noticed Divi distributes a ton of discount coupons (I received 2 coupons to me when I was browsing their website while putting together this article). If you spend a few minutes on their website or sign up to their email list, and I’m certain you’ll receive one of them sent to you.
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you’re struggling with thin hair or postpartum loss as I do, I highly recommend exploring Divi. It’s important to plan for (at at least) three months in order to observe the results, but it’s been well worthwhile for me!
I’ll update this blog post as my husband reaches his 3 or 4 months making use of divi hair serum to see his progress!
